Alumni Highlights
Brian and Kate Fassett are serving in the Peace Corps in Bulgaria. Both are teaching English, as well as working on other projects with NGOs.
Maureen Skidmore received the Best Senior Honors Thesis Award at Salisbury University's Honors Convocation on 2 May 2003. Her thesis, entitled "Shrimp Farming in Latin America: Environmental, Social and Economic Problems and Future Solutions," incorporated information Maureen learned while on the Bahía de Caráquez-Canoa field trip at the end of the 2002-03 Intersession.
"It's good to be home," remarks Newley Purnell, a 2002-03 Intersession TEFL participant, about his return to Cuenca to teach English at CEDEI. Read about Newley's experience in his weblog.
